Over in Cyprus...

As many of you may know, Dad is rather a huge fan of Cyprus. Or anywhere that isn't England, to be honest. In fact, "over in Cyprus" is rapidly becoming one of his most used phrases. The problem has significantly worsened since his brother, our Uncle Rob, moved out there. So, here, we have provided you with a small snippet of what we endure, daily, in the Cooper household.

Sam: "Weather's a bit rubbish today isn't it?"
Dad: "Yeah, this country's useless. It's 27 over in Cyprus."

Hannah: "Rent in Cambridge is so expensive."
Dad: "I told you, it's rip off Britain. You'd get way more for your money over in Cyprus."

Mum: "Water bill's gone up this month, babes."
Dad: "Bloody hell. It's 10 times what Rob pays over in Cyprus."

Jordan: "Oh no, I forgot to put the bins out."
Dad: "For god's sake. Now we've got to store the rubbish for 2 weeks. The system is so much better over in Cyprus."

Sam: "My knees are hurting a bit from work today."
Dad: "It's the pressure. They'd be fine over in Cyprus."

Jordan: "Sam always leaves Kiss on in the car, and I hate it!"
Dad: "Oh dear, it's nothing like Sunshine Radio that they have over in Cyprus."

Mum: "Julie has to wait over a week for a doctor's appointment!"
Dad: "The NHS is the worst health service in the world. You should see how they do it over in Cyprus!"

Cyprus. He loves it.
