Welcome to The Ramblings of our Father, a lifestyle blog dedicated to our dad, Mark!Who are we:
We, Hannah and Sam, are 21 year-old twin sisters, and have both recently graduated from university (Hannah with a Drama and Film studies degree and Sam with an English Language and Linguistics degree). Hannah, an aspiring actress and film maker, and Sam, an aspiring editor, have united to combine their creativity and skills gained at university to bring to you The Ramblings of our Father. These are our first steps into the world of blogging, so why not join us for the adventure?
The Idea:
The Ramblings of our Father is purely and simply about the life of our dad. It will document his rants: politics, news, life in general (trust us, he can find anything to rant about); stories: obviously every dad has stories to tell and he certainly has plenty; bad jokes; and finally, his phrases of the day: yes, he has his own phrases - we feel he uses them to sound intelligent in conversation, but they tend to be grammatically incorrect and overused.
Where it came from:
After re-adjusting to life in the family home after three years of independence at university, we decided it was about time we shared part of our daily life with the world. With his relentless family meetings, stories and ridiculous, unforgettable phrases we feel we can't be the only people who can be entertained by them nor the only people with an embarrassing dad. It's time to bring an insight into the lives of the twin daughters with the humiliating - but loveable - father.
